Hey everyone—get ready for an amazing **Memorial Day celebration!** 🇺🇸 Join me on **Saturday, May 23rd from 11 AM to 8 PM** at the beautiful **Whittier Narrows Recreation Area.** Let’s kick off summer with a full day of great vibes by the water—featuring BBQ, plenty of food and drinks, games, and more. Come hang out, relax, and celebrate together! **About the Park:** Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, located in South El Monte, California, spans 1,492 acres, making it one of Los Angeles County's largest and most popular parks. Situated at the confluence of the San Gabriel and Rio Hondo Rivers, the park offers a diverse array of recreational opportunities. Visitors can enjoy activities such as boating and fishing on its multiple lakes, including Legg Lake, and explore extensive bike and walking trails. The park also features numerous softball and soccer fields, picnic areas, a paved airstrip for radio-controlled aircraft, and a tether car racetrack. For nature enthusiasts, the Whittier Narrows Nature Center provides exhibits on local flora and fauna, and the surrounding 400-acre natural area offers trails through restored riparian woodlands. **Event Details:** We’ll be firing up the grill for a BBQ feast featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, brisket, chicken, shrimp, fish, seafood, grilled veggies, and more! 🎟️ **RSVP & Contribution** To attend, please make a contribution to help cover event costs. $25 per person goes toward premium meats, seafood, drinks, veggies, charcoal, and party supplies. 🎉 **Activities** There will be plenty of games and fun throughout the day!
