This is a 90-minute, facilitated open circle for women. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. The group is located in West Hollywood, and the location address will be shared with RSVPs the day before the session to protect the anonymity of the attendees. Each session opens with a brief Reiki transmission and guided breathing to settle the room, followed by introductions and the heart of our work together. Women are invited to share where they feel stuck. Manta guides each conversation toward the crux of the issue, offering reflective feedback, practical exercises, and a clear next step. This is not therapy and it is not storytelling. It is solution-focused work in a supportive circle. Format: ∙ Reiki opening and breathwork (5 mins) ∙ Introductions (5 mins) ∙ Open circle with guided facilitation ∙ Closing reflections and takeaways Please arrive capable of being fully present. If you arrive intoxicated, you will be gently asked to return next time. A $10 donation is appreciated, but not at all necessary. Your presence alone is a gift. **About Your Facilitator** Manta spent a decade in corporate America as a management consultant, working with clients including Disney, Amgen, and The Carlyle Group. She is also a channel, Reiki master, and healer who studied under Tibetan monks. She has a rare gift for distilling the essence of what is blocking someone, helping them see it clearly and take practical action forward. {USC} Square Dance with a LIVE BAND!

Let's go square dancing Downtown near USC! ($20) The 16th ever Los Angeles Old Time Social is happening on May 16th. There are beginner-friendly workshops throughout the day and musicians and folk enthusiasts from up and down the west coast come into town that weekend. Some of them will be putting on a square dance from 7:30-10pm, which is what we'll be attending. Different musicians and callers will be rotating in throughout the night, and we'll keep dancing. Never square danced? Don't worry... all dances are taught. Fun guaranteed! No partner necessary, this is social dancing :) Everyone willing to participate is welcome! Bring your friends -- the more the square-ier! Straight and LGBTQIA+ friendly. We'll meet up there at 7:30pm to watch (and eat) musical cakes before the dancing gets underway. SCHEDULE: 6-7ish - doors 7:00pm - flatfooting workshop (included with evening program admission, if you're interested) 7:30pm - musical cakes + group meet + socializing + beginner-friendly dancing out back (outside) DIRECTIONS: Punch "Velaslavasay Panorama" into maps and it should get there easy. 1122 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007 PARKING: Street parking. Intermission is Over - Time for More Jazz

Let's hang out again for another night of jazz in the Grand Lobby of the historic Culver Hotel in Culver City. (And don't forget to check out the swanky upstairs bar, the Velvet Lounge.) The hotel is located in a plaza where you can take a small stroll to Culver Studios for a picture in front of the mansion featured in *Gone With the Wind*, or traverse the Culver Steps directly across from the studio, or get an ice cream around the corner at Salt & Straw. There's also a parking structure under the plaza with an entrance right next tot he hotel. The band starts playing at 8:00, so we'll congregate by the couches next to the piano at 7:30 and mingle and get to know each other. When you get here, just look for a a group of guests standing near the musicians who keep asking "Is this the Meetup?" That's us. So come on by for another evening of great music, making new acquaintances, or seeing old ones (if you were here for the first event). Hopefully we'll have another swinging turnout like we did back in March. Hope to see you there.

The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is really a neat place . . . AND WE GET TO VISIT AND HAVE A SOCIAL THERE!!! It's located on private property and not normally open to the public. So it is indeed a special thing for us to go. (for free) Now . . . About this event: It is outdoors in a super-funky, pretty and cute location of The Hollywood Sculpture Garden. **This is intended as a "New To Meetup Mixer." Meaning if you are new to Meetup, or new to the group, been in the group for a while but not attended an event or even just new to the city, . . . then come.** A perfect way to meetup some quality people over some even better wine. **And very perfect if this is your first meetup ever!!
