Join us for another **Social Lingo Language Exchange Party!** Come meet new friends from around the world and have real, interesting and genuine conversations in any language you want to practice. Only know one language? That's cool -- you can be extra helpful for those looking to practice the one you speak :) Solidarity is providing us their entire back area -- so through the back patio bar, out the door to their new, extended outdoor area. We will have an exclusive event menu with discounts on food & drink all night long. PLEASE TIP 20%. We love hosting at Solidarity and want them to keep inviting us back. Please make sure to tip 20% on your bill. There is free street parking at meters all around the venue, Solidarity Restaurant. A sign out front will point you towards the back patio bar. Cantonese Parents Meetup #4

Hi! I feel like it's been a while and we're definitely due for our next meetup. Looking forward to seeing you guys! We'll do another park hang for this one. Bring your kids/SOs, or just yourself. **Other items to bring (optional):** * A blanket to sit on * A favorite book if you'd like to try to read to the kids in Cantonese or just share some materials with the kids. Or a Cantonese language-related toy or game you think the kids (or adults) would enjoy! * A little snack to share with the group No pressure on any of these items. Mandarin Language Exchange

We’ll be meeting in Mendocino Farms at The Culver Steps. This is a welcoming, supportive environment to learn and practice Mandarin conversation and any other language you wish to learn or share. We’ll try to start with intros and the languages you speak and are trying to learn. Please feel free to bring any learning materials you’re working on, language questions you have, a notebook or whiteboard and marker. Parking may be limited at the Culver Garage, but there're a couple of other nearby garages and street parking within walking distance. See you there! -Camille

San Gabriel Valley Chinese Language Meetup

The primary reason for this meetup is for a friendly language exchange between English speakers and Chinese(all dialects) speakers. The end goal is to improve in the language that each person seeks to learn. The secondary reason is for an exchange of cultures(all cultures 😃).

This is a weekly meet up that will occur every Thursdays in the City of San Gabriel. we will begin gathering around 6:30PM but we will officially begin at 7PM We will take turns practicing in English and Japanese. please make sure you are respectful to other participants as well as the establishment we are meeting up. The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is really a neat place . . . AND WE GET TO VISIT AND HAVE A DAYTIME COFFEE SOCIAL THERE!!! It's located on private property and not normally open to the public. So it is indeed a special thing for us to go.
