Please support this business by making a minimum purchase of one drink. *** **No-Show Policy** To ensure fairness and respect for all attendees, we have implemented the following No-Show Policy: * If a participant fails to attend three or more events without prior notice, they will be suspended from all future events for 3 months. * To avoid a no-show, please notify the organizer at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend. * Exceptions may be considered for emergencies, but consistent no-shows will result in enforcement of this policy. *** **Photo & Media Release Notice** By attending this event, you grant the event organizers and their affiliates the irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide right to photograph, video record, and otherwise capture your likeness, voice, and image during the event. You authorize the use, reproduction, publication, modification, and distribution of these materials for any lawful purpose—including but not limited to social media, marketing, promotional content, and future event advertising—in any and all media formats, now known or later developed. You waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of your likeness and release the organizers from any claims relating to the use of your image, including rights of publicity or compensation. *** **Disclaimer:** The event organizer(s) are not affiliated with this venue or any of its partners, affiliates, or associates. The event organizer(s) receive no financial incentives, perks, or benefits of any kind from the venue. They are attending this event as regular paying customers and have personally reserved the space at their own expense. In doing so, the organizer(s) are incurring a personal financial loss. Any claims or speculation suggesting that the organizer(s) are receiving financial kickbacks, special treatment, or undisclosed benefits from the venue are entirely false. *** **Release of Liability** By attending Board Game Night, you agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers, venue, affiliates, and partners from any and all liability, claims, damages, or injuries that may occur before, during, or after the event. You acknowledge that participation in any activities carries inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being. \*\*\* **Respect & Conduct (read carefully)** All attendees are expected to treat others, the venue, and game components with respect. That means: no abusive language, no physical aggression, no intentional damage to games or personal property, and no major behavioral disruptions that interfere with other people’s ability to enjoy the event. If you damage someone’s game pieces, equipment, or personal property, or if you cause a major behavioral disruption, you **will be banned** from future events. There are no exceptions for repeated offenses — damage or major disruption = **banned**. \*\*\* ⚠️**Waitlist Policy**: If you are on the **waitlist** and show up to the event **without an RSVP confirmation**, you will be considered a **walk-in** and subject to both a **late registration fee of $50.00 and a walk-in fee of $25.00**. **Failure to pay this fee will result in a permanent ban from the group.** This policy ensures fairness to all members who properly RSVP and helps us manage space, materials, and overall event quality. Thank you for your cooperation. **Active Community Fee Policy** Starting March 9, 2026, attendees are subject to an Active Community Fee of up to $25 per calendar year. For events where this fee applies, $5.00 per event will be charged and credited toward the attendee’s $25.00 annual Active Community Fee until the full $25.00 has been paid for that calendar year. Once an attendee has satisfied the full $25.00 requirement, no additional Active Community Fee will be owed for the remainder of that same calendar year, provided the attendee remains active under the attendance requirement described below. This fee is a condition of continued participation in the community and is intended to support committed, ongoing attendance. Satisfaction of the $25.00 Active Community Fee grants the attendee the privilege of continued participation in eligible events for the remainder of that calendar year, without further Active Community Fee charges, unless that status is later reset under this policy. To remain current under this policy, an attendee must continue attending at least one event within every rolling three-month period after beginning payment toward the Active Community Fee. If an attendee stops attending for more than three months, their progress toward the $25.00 annual requirement resets. In that case, the attendee must begin again at $5.00 per applicable event until the $25.00 requirement is satisfied again. This policy resets with each new calendar year. Regardless of prior participation, all attendees must satisfy the Active Community Fee again in the next calendar year under the same terms. If an attendee is removed, banned, or denied future participation due to misconduct, disrespectful behavior, disruptive conduct, or other policy violations, any amounts previously paid toward the Active Community Fee are non-refundable. Payment of the fee does not create a right to attend and does not guarantee continued access to events. Participation remains a privilege and is always subject to organizer discretion and community standards. By attending, you acknowledge and agree to this fee policy.

Board Game Coffee Social - Clocktower Night at Rock Coffee in Eagle Rock
Thu, Jun 11, 12:30 AM**🩸 Blood on the Clocktower Night at Rock Coffee** **📅 Date:** Wednesday, June 10, 2026 **⏰ Time:** 6:00 PM–9:30 PM **📍 Location:** ROCK Coffee House / Rock Coffee **🏠 Address:** 4808 Townsend Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90041 **🎲 Game:** Blood on the Clocktower **🌱 Skill Level:** Beginner Friendly Come join us for a dedicated evening of **Blood on the Clocktower** at **Rock Coffee**. **New players are absolutely welcome, and no experience is needed.** This event is beginner friendly, and we will make sure first-time players feel comfortable before the game begins. This will be our first dedicated **Blood on the Clocktower** event at Rock Coffee. We plan to run **Trouble Brewing**, the classic beginner-friendly edition of Blood on the Clocktower. Depending on the group, we may also introduce **Extension Cord**, a beginner-friendly community script. *** **🕯️ What Is Blood on the Clocktower?** **Blood on the Clocktower** is a social deduction game that is often described as **Werewolf on steroids**. Each player is secretly assigned to a team and given a unique role with its own ability. Most players are on the good team and are trying to figure out who the evil players are. The evil team is trying to deceive the group, stay hidden, and avoid being caught. The game moves back and forth between a **night phase** and a **day phase**. During the night phase, certain players wake up one at a time to use their abilities. Some players may receive important information, some may protect others, and some may create confusion behind the scenes. During the day phase, everyone talks, shares theories, asks questions, and tries to piece together what happened. Players can nominate and vote on someone they believe is evil. Discussion, bluffing, reading people, teamwork, and deduction all matter. One of the best parts of Blood on the Clocktower is that **even if you die, you usually stay involved in the game**, so you are not left sitting around with nothing to do. It is dramatic, funny, social, highly interactive, and great for both new and experienced players. *** **📌 Important Notes** * 🌱 **Beginners are absolutely welcome.** * 🧑🏫 Rules will be explained before the game begins. * 🕕 Please arrive on time so we can start smoothly. * 🩸 This is a dedicated Blood on the Clocktower session, so please be ready to participate, talk, listen, and play. * 👥 The game works best with a steady group, so please keep your RSVP updated. * ☕ Please support Rock Coffee by purchasing at least one menu item. *** **🤝 Respectful Conduct & Good Sportsmanship** Everyone is expected to be **cordial, respectful, friendly, patient, and welcoming** toward others. Blood on the Clocktower involves bluffing, suspicion, accusations, and deception as part of the game, but everything should stay fun, respectful, and good-natured. Please remember that we are here to have fun, meet people, and enjoy the game together. Please be kind to new players, give people space to speak, avoid talking over others, and keep the tone friendly. Good sportsmanship is expected throughout the event. Disruptive, aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior is not welcome. *** **📅 Cancellation Policy** If you can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP **at least 24 hours before the event start time**. Since Blood on the Clocktower works best with a committed group, advance cancellation helps us plan properly and gives another person the chance to join. *** **🏡 About Rock Coffee** **Rock Coffee is a nonprofit café in the heart of Eagle Rock** and a welcoming community space for the neighborhood. Rock Coffee is part of **The Rock, which stands for Reach Our Community Kids**, a nonprofit organization focused on building community, supporting young people, and creating a positive space where people can gather, connect, and feel welcome. By attending events here and supporting the café, we are also helping support a local community space that serves the Eagle Rock neighborhood. *** **☕ Venue Support** This event helps support **Melissa’s nonprofit coffee shop**, so each attendee is asked to purchase **at least one menu item** from Rock Coffee. A drink, snack, or café item helps support the space and makes community events like this possible. Thank you for supporting the venue and helping keep community gatherings going. *** **🩸 Come join us for a fun, social, beginner-friendly night of Blood on the Clocktower. New players are welcome, teaching will be provided, and we are here to have a great time together.**
