Walking recalibrates your circadian rhythm\, making you fall asleep faster at night\. **The Walk Story:** "Tempe-Kingsgrove" via-Cooks-River-Earlwood-Bexley "TwoValleyTrail" 12km. **Brand New Walk Sections:** Half Bush - Half Pathways - very few streets on 12km Walk. Come live it up, yes! guys and girls, let's try! Variety is the spice of life. Hey guess what? Your body need an energy boost, just love this walk! **Meeting Time:** 10am. **Meeting Point:** Tempi Station West Side Exit bottom of stairs. We head to **Warren Park**, then **Steel Park**, bathrooms, water fountain, rehydrate. Beaman Park, Ewen Park, Pat O'Conner Reserve and Hughs Park. Earlwood for a short break. **Wolli Creek Regional Park** and continue to **Girrahween Park.** From many parklands we make our way through **Illoura Reserve** along the **"Bray Wetlands Track"** to reach **Bexley North**. Not far from Kingsgrove Pub, our regular drinks and lunch place on this walk. **Distance:** 12km - (approximately 3 hours) **Type of Walk:** Bush walks, dirt tracks, bush paths, streets paths, rivers, creeks. **Difficulty:** Easy/Moderate (Moderate because of distance) **Walking Pace:** An easy steady pace at 4.25km-4.50 per hour. **What to Bring:** Comfortable outfit, boots/runners, a litre of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat just in case of wet weather. East Hills to Riverwood along the Georges River (16km) Easy/Medium-Grade 2
Sat, May 9, 12:00 AMThis diverse walk starts from the East Hills train station and follows Henry Lawson Drive to Lambeth Reserve, at the Georges River’s edge. Following the ridge along boardwalks, roads, bridges, beaches, footpaths, lookouts and bush tracks, the walk explores the edge of the river and Salt Pan Creek before finishing the walk at Riverwood train station by 3:00pm. TRANSPORT: 9:21am train from Central Station Platform 23, arriving at East Hills Station at 9:51am. BRING: 2 litres of water, hydralyte tablets, snacks, lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, Bushmans Repellant, rain gear, hiking shoes.
