In today’s world, it can be extremely daunting to have a conversation with family or friends who have a different view from our own, especially when the topic is politics. Most of us just avoid the topic. But does that really get us anywhere? Whether you're a Democrat or Republican, most people agree that, as a country, we’re fighting over problems instead of working together to solve them. Resolutionaries is one of countless organizations working to make conversations possible, so we can start to find common values and create solutions to our many challenges. In past events, we have focused on high conflict topics such as gun control and immigration - how these issues affect us and how we can share our views in a way that unites us rather than divides us. Resolutionaries aim to change our current paradigms of "us vs them" and "we're right, you're wrong" to "we have much in common" and "we all want solutions, let's find them together."

We’ll be repeating this walk every two weeks until further notice. Come join me for a fun and active evening as we continue our bi-weekly **10k-Steps Walking Challenge!** **AGENDA;** **\- Gathering at 5:45 \- 1485 Virginia Rd\. Intermission is Over - Time for More Jazz

Let's hang out again for another night of jazz in the Grand Lobby of the historic Culver Hotel in Culver City. (And don't forget to check out the swanky upstairs bar, the Velvet Lounge.) The hotel is located in a plaza where you can take a small stroll to Culver Studios for a picture in front of the mansion featured in *Gone With the Wind*, or traverse the Culver Steps directly across from the studio, or get an ice cream around the corner at Salt & Straw. There's also a parking structure under the plaza with an entrance right next tot he hotel. The band starts playing at 8:00, so we'll congregate by the couches next to the piano at 7:30 and mingle and get to know each other. When you get here, just look for a a group of guests standing near the musicians who keep asking "Is this the Meetup?" That's us. So come on by for another evening of great music, making new acquaintances, or seeing old ones (if you were here for the first event). Hopefully we'll have another swinging turnout like we did back in March. Hope to see you there.
