Sat, May 2, 4:00 AM**Your monthly dose of creativity & community.** Welcome to the Beverly Hills Craft-ernoon! Got a knitting project you can’t seem to finish? Eager to meet other creative people in your corner of Sydney? Or just looking for a welcoming space to relax and make something with your hands? Our community Craft-ernoon is for you. Think of it as a creative hub for everyone—from kids discovering the joy of glitter glue to seniors sharing a lifetime of skills. It’s a relaxed, unstructured afternoon to connect with neighbours of all ages. **What to bring:** * **Your current project:** Whether it’s crochet, sketching, or scrapbooking, bring it along! * **Just yourself!** If you don’t have a project, don't worry. We’d love your help knitting or sewing a "Trauma Teddy" to comfort someone in need. All materials are provided. * **The kids!** We’ll have a station with simpler crafts ready for little hands. **All the nitty-gritty:** * **When:** 2pm on the first Saturday of every month * **Where:** Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 9 Warrawee Place, Beverly Hills (sadly, the one near Hurstville, not LA!). We're in the main hall at the back of the building. * **Cost:** Free! Seriously. We’re happy to provide the space and materials. * **Parking:** Warrawee Place can be tight, so try Tooronga Terrace or Ponyara Road for more spots. **A note from our hosts** Beverly Hills Baptist Church is delighted to host this community gathering. Our goal is simple: to provide a warm, welcoming space for people to connect and create. There are no strings attached, no religious program—just good company and craft. Everyone is welcome, exactly as you are. **Questions or ideas? Origami Crafting & Social Meetup🥳💖
Sat, Apr 25, 4:30 AM### **Hi Sydneysiders! ✨ Ready to create origami? 🕊️🌿** Join us for **Sakkie’s Origami Crafting & Social** on ANZAC day. As ANZAC Day approaches, we reflect on the **spirit of peace** and the **strong friendship that Australia and Japan** share today. In Japan, the origami crane is a symbol of healing and a universal **wish for peace.** On the Saturday, as we gather on our terrace, we want to fold cranes and some other honouring the past while celebrating the peaceful connections we’re building together in Sydney. ✨🕊️ We’re bringing the meditative art of Japanese paper folding to our terrace. Whether you haven't touched origami since childhood or you're a total beginner, this event is all about **unplugging from the digital world** and creating something beautiful with your own two hands. From iconic paper cranes to modern geometric designs, we’ll guide you through the folds in a chill, no-pressure environment. ### **What we’ll do:** We’ll spend the afternoon folding together. There’s something magically relaxing about focusing on your fingertips it’s the ultimate ice-breaker! You’ll share laughs over tricky folds, help each other out, and leave with your own handmade paper masterpieces. 🎨📐 ### **✨ No more "one drink" limit! 🥤** I’ve noticed that our community loves to chat, and crafting can be thirsty work! We’ve set up our **Self-Serve Soft drink Station** where you can help yourself to drinks throughout the event. Just write your name on your paper cup and stay hydrated while you create! 🌸 Keep the conversation flowing as easily as the paper folds! ### **【Event Details】** * 🕊️ **What:** Sakkie Origami Crafting & Social * ⏰ **When:** 25th April , 2:30 PM - 4:45 PM * 📍 **Location:** Rush Espresso Bar (Terrace Area), Surry Hills * 💸 **Price:** **$ 17 Regular Price** (Follow our Instagram **[@sakkie_sydney](https://www.instagram.com/sakkie_sydney/)** **-$1**, and RSVP **-$1 **) /**$15 Discounted Price** - **Pay at the door!** (Cash or PayID preferred) * ✅ **Includes:** origami paper + Japanese snacks + self-serve drink station + a wholesome space to meet new friends. * 🎶 **Vibe:** Cozy, mindful, and creative. Come solo to find your "Zen" tribe, or bring your friends for a unique, crafty afternoon! 🫶🏻 ### **⚠️ Limited spots available!** Please cancel if you can’t make it so someone else can join :) ### **A Safe Space for Women 🤝** Sakkie is a safe, welcoming space created by a Japanese woman for everyone to enjoy. We ensure every guest feels comfortable, especially those joining solo. You’re never alone in the Sakkie fam! ✨ ### **Photos & Videos 📷** We’ll be capturing the "aesthetic" crafting moments to share on our social media. If you’d prefer not to be on camera, just let us know when you arrive! ### **Building "Sakkie" Together 🌸** Since we're a brand-new community, everyone who joins now is a **"founding member"** of the Sakkie fam! We’d love for you to be part of our journey from the start. Let’s fold some amazing memories and build this community hub together!

Atomic Habbits - Crafting A Better Future By Today's Actions
Sat, Apr 25, 3:00 AM🌟 Welcome to Your Transformational 2026 A year that isn’t just new — it’s yours to design. 2026 has arrived, and it’s asking you one simple, electrifying question: Who do you want to become from here? This is your moment to pause, breathe, and imagine the version of you that’s been waiting to step forward. Ask yourself: - How will I describe 2026 when it’s over? - What shifts do I want to see in my life? - How do I want to grow, evolve, and expand? - What emotions do I want to live in this year? Because the truth is: ✨ Your future is shaped by the habits you choose today. They are the bridge between where you stand and the life you’re dreaming of. If you’re ready for a year of transformation — a year where you rise, change, stretch, and never look back — then you’re in the right place. This is a space for people who are choosing growth on purpose. A community of humans who are rewriting their stories, building new habits, and cheering each other on through every breakthrough and every wobble. Together, we’ll share our journeys, our lessons, our wins, and the moments we overcame what once held us back. Together, we’ll create a 2026 that feels bold, expansive, and deeply aligned. If you’re ready to step into the most intentional, empowered version of yourself — welcome. This is where your transformation begins.
