**🎬 Tuesday Film Club - It Was Just an Accident (2025)** 📅 **Tuesday, 17th February** 🕢 **Movie starts at 6:10 PM** 📍 **Ritz Cinema, Randwick** 💺 **Get your ticket in Row F around seat F7** 🍻 **Optional pre-movie drink at 6 PM** After a brief hiatus, we're back with an Iranian film. Interestingly, the director is facing persecution currently for depicting the country in a bad light. 🎟️ **Tickets:** Please buy your own ticket from the [Ritz Cinema Website](https://www.ritzcinemas.com.au/tickets?c=0000000004&s=81166) so we can all sit together. 💡 **Pro tip:** Get the free Ritz membership for $8 Tuesday tickets. It takes a minute to sign up — or message me and I’ll help sort it. 🍻 **Pre-Movie Hang:** We’ll meet at the **Ritz Bar at 6 PM** for a drink. No pressure to consume alcohol — I’ll usually just have a non-alcoholic beer or water. It’s more about the vibe than the beverage. **Occasionally , we postpone it to after the movie, depending on the show times**. *** *"Fresh films from around the world — always fun, never pretentious"* This is a weekly movie meetup at **Ritz Cinema in Randwick**, every **Tuesday** around 6:00–9:00 PM (depending on the movie start time). We watch critically acclaimed, fun, and entertaining films — often international or under-the-radar. Not your usual blockbusters (unless they’re genuinely great), and definitely not slow or overly “artsy” for the sake of it. We meet for a **casual drink at the Ritz Bar** about 30 minutes before the movie. That part’s optional — come early, come late, or just show up for the film. There’s **zero pressure to drink** — I usually just have a non-alcoholic beer or water. It’s a low-pressure, social-if-you-feel-like-it space. 🌀 **The Ethos** This group is for people who want a regular, no-fuss movie night — something simple, reliable, and friendly. We judge movies, not people. 🎟️ **How It Works** • The film is announced by Wednesday each week • You RSVP and buy your own ticket directly (we’ll suggest a seating row) • You can get a free membership with Ritz Cinema that gives you $8 tickets every Tuesday. It only takes a minute to sign up — or just text me and I’ll help you with it. • You’ll get your ticket info before the movie • Optional pre-movie café hang (30 mins) • Watch the movie together 👋 **About Me** Hey, I’m Aman. I started this group because I know how valuable something like this can be — whether you’re new to Sydney or just looking for a consistent plan each week. Meetup groups helped me feel connected when I needed it, and this is a small way of giving that back. This is a chill weekly ritual for people who like movies and good company — without the pressure to perform. Come as you are.

SSP WED - Northside Chat & Edit

Meet for chat over a drink and snack or dinner. Tonight, if you are in the mood, we can discuss editing images. Editing images allows you to refine your communication to the viewer of the image’s story. I will bring a laptop with Lightroom Classic installed. We can discuss any aspect of editing your images. Most image editors are similar, so even if using a different editor, the techniques are similar, mainly due to the menu system. Feel free to bring image(s) on a usb stick, SD, microSD memory card or an iPhone that supports Airdrop. Using Lightroom we can work on extracting the story of the image. More info on the venue here chatswoodrsl.com.au Plenty of free parking available nearby as well as the bus stop at the door or metro & rail just 50m away.
