We will *start up* our monthly **Art Crawls** once again! ***Please read everything over first.*** \*\*\*Our only ART Crawl in September will be on Saturday 5th (1pm-3pm) 14-15 people/members each time. **About once each month** on a *Saturday afternoon*. **$10 per person.** **Sent via e-transfer when you signup/rsvp. I'm not able to HOLD space for you.** ***--We will visit 3 different*** (downtown/west end/east end) galleries each month **(with short walks between each one)** Each month will be different galleries and/or artist run centres. \*\*We'll meet the Gallery owners/artists/directors--who will lead us in tours and conversation at each stop. Virtual World, Real World Today’s younger generation is growing up across two spaces at once: the world we physically experience and the world we encounter through screens. How do these two realities shape identity, relationships, attention, belonging, and the way we see ourselves? Can we still draw a clear line between what is “virtual” and what is “real”? At Auravista Gathering 6, we’ll explore these questions together, not to reject technology, but to better understand what it means to grow up between two realities.

Built in **1929**, the Automotive Building is a remarkable piece of Toronto architectural history. Designed by Toronto architect Douglas Kertland during the height of the Art Deco era, its bold geometric forms, elegant Beaux-Arts influences and grand exhibition spaces were originally created to showcase the automobile. At its opening, it was described as the largest structure in North America designed exclusively for displaying passenger vehicles. And now, nearly a century later, we're going to put it to a very different use: **making photographs.**  ## ✨ LIGHT. FASHION. ARCHITECTURE. We're bringing some serious lighting firepower to this workshop, including **Elinchrom 5 flashes**, giving participants the opportunity to work with professional lighting equipment and explore how controlled light can transform both a subject and an architectural environment. Adding to the creative experience, designer **Adrianna Fulop** will be styling our model in a stunning custom look designed to complement the character, scale and drama of this incredible building. We'll experiment with dramatic lighting, directional light, shadow, shape and composition while using the Automotive Building's architecture as our enormous studio. Guided Walking Tour Along The Front + Food/Drinks (Union Stn.)

On **Wednesday, September 2nd**, **join me for this New Guided Walking Tour Along The Front provided by the Royal Ontario Museum.** The tour will start just west of the original Town of York, where we’ll explore the site of York’s original bustling market that continues to thrive today. On our walk we’ll encounter iconic and historic buildings such as the elegant Flatiron Building, the Royal York Hotel, spacious theatres, the breathtaking Galleria & more. One of the city’s earliest thoroughfares, the landscape of Front St. East has undergone many changes over the years. On our walk, we’ll see an examine these changes, including the new North Market building at St. Lawrence Market, and the renovation and restoration of Union Station and other buildings. Also on our walk, we’ll take in modern buildings, spaces, and sculptures that add even more to the story of this historic and vibrant street. These Tours are guided by docents, and run rain or shine.
