Let's visit the Exploratorium in SF! + lunch at the Ferry building

Let's meet at the Exploratorium in SF for a fun science morning near the beautiful SF coast. Herb, who's a member of this meetup and long time volunteer at the Exploratorium, will be our wonderful guide!! We'll then walk to the nearby Ferry building for lunch. We plan on taking the Bart from Milbrae to Embarcadero and vice versa for the return. carpool from Milbrae to San Carlos is possible, let us know!

Come draw, paint, or do whatever other art you're working on! Bring your own supplies. We're usually on the second floor -- look for all the people with sketchbooks and/or drawing tablets. Vesuvio Cafe

This world-renowned San Francisco saloon located in North Beach just across from the infamous City Lights Bookstore, was first established in 1948 and remains an historical monument to jazz, poetry, art and the good life of the Beat Generation. Bring a chair if you would like to sketch outside, the cafe itself opens at 11am. Gather at 12:30pm to share.
