Let's Improvise: Improv Dojo - Oakland Improv Class
Sun, Aug 23, 11:30 PMThe Improv Dojo is a place to do improv. It is a chance to play, explore and develop. We explore scene work, theater games and related acting exercises. It is part drop-in class and part practice session. The Improv Dojo is for improvisors ready to explore . Beginning and experienced improvisors welcome. Dojo attendees include Pan troupe members, Dojo regulars and people brand new to improv. Whether you're a beginner looking to try improv for the first time or a more seasoned player looking for a chance to play - the Improv Dojo is for you. If you're new to improv be sure to checkout our improv guides on the Pan Theater web site (the Rules of Improv I and II). Tickets are $20 per person cash at the door. The Dojo is offered: Sundays live from 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Everyone meets in front of the building entrance at 450 Geary St, checks-in, and then goes upstairs to the classroom. Following the class there's often an after party at a nearby place. Improv Jam in Person
Sun, Aug 16, 8:30 PMWe warm up with improv games, then do improvised scenes with various partners. This is a fun and supportive environment open to all. This jam takes place at Montclair Presbyterian. The church parking lot is at Grisborne Ave (Western end) and Thornhill Dr. There is street parking closer to the church entrance. There is no public transportation to Montclair on Sunday. Message the host to arrange a ride from the 40th St. BART station. There is a 7-Eleven, a gas station and a sandwich shop within a couple of blocks. This event happens once a month on the third Sunday. Cost is $20 sliding scale. Limited to 16 people.

Watercolor Painting Class
Sun, Aug 23, 5:00 PM**Must read: sign up on our website sweetartssanfrancisco.com to register before coming to the class to secure your spot.** This is a class designed for beginners and intermediates who wish to expand their skills in this beautiful medium. We will teach/demonstrate beginner watercolor techniques and refresh for those who already have some background in watercolor painting. This is a single session class. One Sunday only, focusing on still-life painting. The class is 2.5 hours. Class starts at 10:00am. All art supplies will be provided. All are welcomed!
