**Welcome to Startup Oasis!** If you are a startup founder, investor, developer, marketer, or anyone else in the tech ecosystem looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Entrepreneurs pitch their startups to the attendees; then, you can join a breakout room/area (that we curate) to talk to the founders, join their team, ask questions, and/or give feedback. People have been able to start a business as a result of this process. You are welcome to just watch as well. After the last pitch, the audience will be able to vote on a winner who will become eligible to pitch during the championship round at the end of the year to win the grand prize! The official registration page is [here](https://luma.com/k3hyfi17). **Schedule:** 5:30 PM - Doors open for networking. 6:00 PM - Sign up at the check-in table if you want to pitch your startup 6:15 PM - Startup Oasis Begins, founders pitch 6:45 PM onward - Founders break off into break-out rooms/areas, and attendees can move around and help one another for the remainder of the time, similar to a hackathon **Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.** Use this [link](https://www.startupoasis.org/contact-10 "https://www.startupoasis.org/contact-10") to: * Follow us on LinkedIn * Join our community * Donate to our cause * Visit our website * Sign up for our newsletter **Nearby Transit:** * Town Hall Station * Car Parking: parking garage nearby

Mid-Year Reset - The Courage To Be Ambitious

Mid-Year Reset - The Courage To Be Ambitious

Sat, May 30, 3:00 AM
From Business Development Mastery
4.6

**Mid-Year Reset - The Courage To Be Ambitious** Create Direction and Momentum in this Half Day Masterclass **Speaker: David Newton** **By the end of May most people realise something quietly important.** The goals they set at the beginning of the year have either gained momentum… or drifted slightly off course. This is normal. The reality is that meaningful goals rarely unfold in a straight line. Sometimes they require a reset. Sometimes a new decision. **And sometimes simply a fresh perspective.** This relaxed afternoon masterclass is designed to give you the space to step back, reflect, and reconnect with what you want to accomplish during the second half of the year. **Saturday 30th May 2026** **1:00pm – 5:00pm** Ford Room – Level 3 Crows Nest Community Centre (5 minute walk from the Metro Station) Light refreshments served during the break. **During the afternoon we will explore ideas such as:** • How powerful decisions often change the direction of a year • Why many intelligent people lose momentum halfway through their goals • How setbacks and rejection can sometimes become the turning point for success • How to remain focused when circumstances around you feel uncertain • Where new opportunities and resources often appear when you change direction **Who this session is for:** • Business owners and professionals who want to regain momentum this year • People with goals or projects that have stalled or slowed down • Anyone who wants to make the second half of 2026 count This is not a high-pressure seminar. It is simply an opportunity to spend a few hours thinking more clearly about your goals, your direction and what the rest of the year could still become.
