**Welcome Party** for bilingual creatives, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and talent arriving from Japan and wider Australasia. **Ticketed event** (link going live soon) There are 4 classes of ticket: **Newcomer** (新人) 【$6\~】 for people new to Sydney **Ambassador** (アンバサダー) 【$10\~】 for people willing to aide newcomers **Club** (メンバー) 【$10\~】 for members of a WP club **Supporter** (サポーター) 【$15】waitlist only for supporters who don't fit any of the above. unsold tickets given to waitlist supporters 48 hours before event. discounts available for gender-balanced groups. Ticket price increases as the class depletes to limit numbers and balance newcomers with ambassadors Ticket includes a **Free Drink** before 6PM for any ticketholder that follows one of our SNS accounts (meetup.com, instagram, discord) This is a networking event where Sydney Ambassadors who can offer professional advice, services, work, housing, mentorship, patronage, or activities mix with high-agency visitors from abroad. **Drinks and Food** Food is available at any time. Beer and Snack special available until 6PM Shared snacks at 7PM (included) Optional dinner at 8PM (at Daruma or nearby) Long Happy Hour for drinks (5-9PM) $6 beer, wine, spirits, sake (prepaid drink vouchers at registration) Menu subject to change. **Activities** Drink tickets come with a **CHANCE** card that offer a challenge. Completion of the challenge wins more drink tickets, tickets to other events, a VIP meal, or further challenges. Some challenges are group based, others solo. **Dress Code** First impressions matter. We recommend you dress your best. There are also drink and meal tickets for **Best Dressed** **Bringing a Friend** Got a friend joining without a ticket? Please contact us (English or Japanese) via Meetup Chat or Discord ASAP. If your friend requires the same class ticket, we can issue tickets at the same ticket price (not promo price) if there is space. Priority is given to Newcomers, then Ambassadors, then Club, then Supporters. **Under 18's** This is an 18+ event but exceptions can be made. Under 18's will be given a wristband. ID required for anyone ordering or drinking alcohol. **Ambassadors** Ambassadors are required to offer one of the following (or equiv): * share house vacancies * jobs, gigs, or partnership opportunities * day trips * qualified professional advice (visa, school) * mentorship
