From Copywriting for Conversion & Sales: Melbourne

You are probably well aware of the **nightmarish** freelancer marketplaces... Upwork ❌ Air tasker ❌ Fiver ❌ The offers on there are flat-out disgusting. (Pennies and a five star review IF lucky👌). I have a few tips for finding clients in alternative spaces and giving yourself the best chance of landing them. Happy to share these with you guys, and hear some of your own strategies too. Topics Covered: • Free methods for finding prospects that the rest of your industry isn't hunting for. • The two-sequence pitch that is purpose built for uncovering client desires so you can shapeshift your offer to match. • A clean closing system that feels organic. Location and time below, look forward to seeing new and familiar faces. Max capacity = 10

Freelancers/Entrepreneurs/Self-Employed Networking Night

Freelancers/Entrepreneurs/Self-Employed Networking Night

Tue, Jun 9, 8:00 AM
From Girls Who Boss - Melbourne
4.8

Do you run your own business or work for yourself and wish that you had a community of like-minded women who share the same experiences as you? If so, join us for a freelancers/entrepreneurs/self-employed networking night where we can share our stories over Asian-inspired street food and $2 dumplings. Entrepreneurship and self-employment can be a lonely journey. We go through unique things and experiences, and our ups and downs can feel a lot more intense. But there's no reason why we need to go through this experience alone, when we have a community of women who have experienced what you have, and might even be able to point you in the right direction. It doesn't matter if you're a startup founder, a self-employed designer, or a part-time freelance consultant; anyone and everyone who runs a business is welcome.
