D&D5e: Heroic Fantasy role play. Bring nothing, just show up, everything youll need is provided at session, from dice to other players! You will be placed with a group of 6 other people like you. Dont worry about * “Will I slow everyone down?” * “Do I need to know rules?” Everything will be provided for and the most 95% of attendees are new. Youll be lucky to be placed with super experienced people. Details given on the day. **Isle of the Grave** Disgraced. Humiliated. Publicly castigated. And sent away from your comfortable life in the capital. Investigate a silent outpost in the northern ocean. Protect a town. Survive the coming of the night. Clear your names. Don't answer questions. A roleplay-focused puzzle adventure. **The Cost of Ascension is Betrayal** You find yourself standing outside a crumbling monastery, which contains the entry to a dungeon containing The Ascendant Heart. Held by a series of heroes and villains, only two things are known for sure about this artefact: it confers near god-like power to the one who holds it, and all who have held it have died from betrayal. Do you trust your companions? For what purpose have you sought godlike power? And what will you do to achieve it? A dungeon-crawl for 3rd level characters, includes puzzles, solo and team roleplay, and combat.

Procrasta-gaming: Call of Cthulhu

Every Thursday at 3:00pm there are 5 places to play Call of Cthulhu. Sometimes it is the classic 1920's, sometimes modern and sometimes regency. What is guaranteed is mystery and horror galore! Follow EGAD's discord to find out what's the story for the session. What is Call of Cthulhu, I hear you ask? It is often a mystery and always horror game where you are a human fighting against horrors beyond your comprehension. Using your wits, your luck and skills you maybe able to survive. There are always pregenerated characters for you to use. Dice are provided as well. However, if you are familiar with the game, feel free to bring a few to try. This is intended for folks to be able to continue their characters from week to week if that is what you would like. These sessions are beginner friendly but alas, the storyline punches won't be held. Sessions are $25 and run for 3 hours with a break in-between. Drinks are onsite but feel free to byo drinks and food.

You can always bring a standard deck of cards or tarot cards and learn a card game or two as well! **Can I bring a guest?** * Unfortunately, unless they have signed up too it won't be possible. We have a strict limit on guests and the event would fill up too quickly otherwise. **How do I get to the venue?** * The 86 Tram is your best bet and has a stop pretty much right outside of the venue. * There are two train stations (Westgarth and Northcote) which are within walking distance. * Parking is available in the area but can get busy. Let's Create an Improvised Musical!

Like Improv Storytelling, Music or singing? In this session we will combine these elements to create an improvised musical blending the story of theatre, the fun of improv and the magic of music. We'll start off with some singing and improv warm up activities, do a quick rundown of story structure, suggest a topic and then get into exploring the world and characters a (musical) scene at a time, hopefully reaching some sort of satisfying conclusion! This time I would like to practice having a clear and simple chorus. Based on interest, we'll take turns acting and singing in the scene or being musicians.Some level of experience to improv theatre, music, role-playing games or similar is recommended (but not compulsory). for people who want to do music- If you know basic chord progressions you're qualified enough to do music! I will bring a keyboard and acoustic guitar, but BYO other instruments, voice and snacks. Last time it was a lot of fun, so we hope to recreate that magic again! attendance fee is $10, payable on the day Also, if you do plan on coming, us know instrument if any you're wanting to bring! Tuesday Board Games

Happening weekly on Tuesday, EGAD hosts a community night for those who are wanting to play some board games. No knowledge of games needed, just a desire to play and willingness to play with folks from all walks of life. Long time friend of EGAD (back when we were a games bar named Pause Menu), and board gamer, Kevin is your wonderful host on fortnightly Tuesday. Kevin has been part of our board games nights as long as we have been running them and has a great knowledge of them. The alternate nights are run by our lovely reception team Nick and Orla! They will be there every Tuesday making your hot chocolates and late night coffees. The event starts at 6:30pm and finishes at 10:30pm and has an entry fee of $10 if you purchase tickets online in advance. Tickets available on the night at the door for $12.
