🎖 Blitz Creed Board Game Night @ The Loading Bar

If you enjoy strategy card games, meeting new people and playing in a relaxed, welcoming setting, this one’s for you. This event is focused entirely on Blitz Creed, a fast-paced military strategy card game built around tactics, prediction, and outsmarting your opponents. No other games will be played on the night. **🕕 Arrival & Start Time** * Arrive from: 6:30pm for drinks, mingling, and meeting other players * Games begin: 7:00pm If it’s your first time attending or you’re coming on your own, just ask for Taha or Omar when you arrive and we’ll help get you settled. **🎮 What to expect** * Full games of Blitz Creed only * Clear rules explanation before play begins * Games played in groups of 3–4 players * A friendly, social atmosphere with plenty of interaction and table talk No prior experience is needed — the game is taught on the night. **👥 Capacity** * Limited to 20 players Spaces are capped to ensure smooth gameplay and enough table space, so please RSVP only if you’re able to attend. **🍔Supporting the venue** Loading Bar has kindly given us the space free of charge, so we politely ask that attendees support the venue by purchasing food and/or drinks during the evening. **⏰ How long does it run?** We’ll be playing through the evening until 10pm (give or take). MTG Booster Draft Event Tuesday
Tue, Feb 17, 6:30 PM**Address: 210-212 Southwark Park Road, London SE16 3RX** **Doors Open 11am Event starts 6:30pm-10pm** **Player Capacity: 14 players** Welcome to our **Magic: The Gathering** Booster Draft Tournament. The evening consists of a 50 minute booster draft. After that, you will be paired up and play 3 rounds of Swiss and prizing is distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your **ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/magic-the-gathering-events)**, you will be asked to register on the Magic Companion app. We use this app for our tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. **How to draft**: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player then opens a booster pack and picks a single card without showing the other players. Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 45 cards (along with any number of basic lands) which they can use to build a 40 card deck. London Wargaming Guild club night - Wednesdays @ Bad Moon Cafe Holloway
Wed, Feb 18, 6:00 PM**Please note BEFORE BOOKING** This meetup event allows you to book ONE 6 x 4 gaming table at Bad Moon Cafe Holloway Road, for yourself and your opponent(s). ’There is no charge at the time of booking, but each player will need to pay their £9 table charge on arrival at Bad Moon Cafe (this normally means a total of £18 per pair of players at a table).** **Important** \- though no payment is taken in advance\, LWG will be charged for no\-shows or those that do not cancel their booking more than 48 hours from the start time \(which is 6pm Wednesdays\)\. **Please let us know if you won’t be able to attend!** At this notice, games can be deferred but this is done via contacting your host to have you added manually to a future event. Tables can support up to 4 players if playing doubles (or even up to 6 players playing a group game of some kind), but each player will need to pay their £9 as usual. PLEASE state the name of your opponent when bookingthrough the meetup so we are able to pair games appropriately before sending the list to the venue. If you don’t have an opponent, contact your host for help accessing our community to find an opponent. **About us** The LWG have over 4,000 members looking for games and generally discussing the hobby in the widest sense. When booking a game on MeetUp: • Please make sure you have a named opponent (find one in our chats); • Use the RSVP questions to name your opponent and game system rather than the comments; • Note that all tables at BMC (when booked through us) are 6'x4'. The venue offers barista coffee, craft beer, (awesome) wood-fired pizza, and a large stock of Games Workshop products, card games and board games for purchase.
