MTG Booster Draft Event Tuesday

**Address: 210-212 Southwark Park Road, London SE16 3RX** **Doors Open 11am Event starts 6:30pm-10pm** **Player Capacity: 14 players** Welcome to our **Magic: The Gathering** Booster Draft Tournament. The evening consists of a 50 minute booster draft. After that, you will be paired up and play 3 rounds of Swiss and prizing is distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your **ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/magic-the-gathering-events)**, you will be asked to register on the Magic Companion app. We use this app for our tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. **How to draft**: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player then opens a booster pack and picks a single card without showing the other players. Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 45 cards (along with any number of basic lands) which they can use to build a 40 card deck. Tuesday - Small Format Games (2.5x2.5) - e.g. Blood Bowl, Kill Team, TCGs, RPGs

Sign up here to book your seat in the bar area to play small format games (roughly 2.5' x 2.5' or less). **If your game requires a 3' x 3' space or bigger please book a large table in our 'Big Tables' meetup** **to play large format games e.g. Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, MESBG, Necromunda -** which are typically located in a usually quieter well lit area just a little further away from the bar area. **How to Sign Up:** 1. **State your system** (Blood Bowl, Kill Team, Underworlds etc) 2. **State your opponent(s) name(s)**. Don't have an opponent? You can find one in our community chats! Once you do, please UPDATE your RSVP to let us know their name(s), and make sure they sign up also! **On the Day:** * Setup is from 6pm, you're welcome to come socialise/help from then. * Games kick off around 7pm. * Games should finish *before* 11pm (which is when the venue closes). **About Us:** The LWG is a volunteer run not for profit gaming club founded in 2013. Blood on the Clocktower is a 5–20 player Hidden identity game (similar to Traitors, Mafia or Werewolf) where a good team tries to identify a the evil team before they eliminate the whole village. High player interaction, with unique character roles, and a Storyteller to guide the game. Our regulars always bring a wide selection, also *you are welcome to bring your own games*. We have a beautiful location in the garden of The Old Bell. We will be in the back. I'll make sure not to miss you. Monday games (beginner friendly)

Come and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan. Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00. We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat.
