**READ carefully before you join! Only balanced groups!** 1.) 16:00: - 16:30: Gathering at the meeting spot. 2.) 16:40 - 17:40: Playing The lost Treasure. 3.) 18:30 - 20:00: Dinner at Kan'Koa (optional). Let's play the in the #1 exit room provider in Berlin called "The Room". The game we are going to play is The Lost Treasure. Language is in English. THE LOST TREASURE - cinematic trailer // THE ROOM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBUV2BROJxo More info here: https://the-room-berlin.com/en-lost-treasure/ 🔔 Steps if you wanna join this game: ✔️1. You must be flexible! Postponing the date might be possible. I'll not cancel the event unless everyone wants their money back for whatever reason. ✔️2. We need at least 4 members to pay the minimum price of 40 € (see screenshot!). Buying tickets separately is not possible. I have to buy the tickets for everyone! 6 would be ideal and my preferred number. Members who joined the previous escape room are preferred in a waiting list. ✔️3. The keep everything fair it should be a balanced group. So number of male and female members will most likely be 50/50 based on last years feedback. ✔️4. Sign up for the event and I'll PN you the details about payment. ✔️5. I'll immediately buy the tickets and provide more details about the date, time and meeting spot. ✔️6. Communication will be mainly over a separate Telegram group. **1.) How to the find the Meeting spot** THE ROOM - Live Escape Game Berlin UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Ruschestraße 64-66 - 10365 Berlin https://maps.app.goo.gl/gbmFFacfuDXEfthu8 **2.) Playing The Lost Treasure:** Just follow the instruction of our guide. We need to stick together as a team in order to escape! **3.) How to the find the Kan'Koa restaurant:** Oranienburger Str. 17, 10178 Berlin https://maps.app.goo.gl/DL5ifV3XzDSkJeAq6 This Asian restaurant has a cosy atmosphere which gives the opportunity to have meaningful conversations. They offer a good mix of Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. I would recommend this to vegetarians as well as vegans. *** Who is this meetup for: 1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\. 2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\. 3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\. What you can expect: 1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\. 2\. A Walk & Talk to break the ice\. 3\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\. Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?" You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did. From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach. “A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” - Dale Carnegie If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily. Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on. Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.

Blood on the Clocktower at BRLO Brwhaus!! (beginner/intermediate)

*Trialing a new location now that Brewdog has closed, please bear with us while we get back on our feet :)* Hi folks, this is the special meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in Berlin, currently at BRLO Brwhaus near Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!** Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, whether they’re heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration – “killing with grace, and dying with dignity”. We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters. Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception… think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team – the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle – or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers. We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a “Revolutionary” pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
