**OzBerry – Saturday, May 16th, 2026** *Creator Space* **🌟 Kids' Group Session** 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM **🎉 General OzBerry (also happening alongside the kids' session)** 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM **🍽️ Lunch Break** 12:30 – 1:00 PM – Grab a bite and relax! **💬 General OzBerry Session** 1:00 PM 🕑 **2:00 PM – Open Chat** 🤝 **Quick “Get to Know You” (optional)** – a relaxed way to learn who’s great to chat with or go to for help. We’ll also have a short, open discussion about how we can make OzBerry even better. This could include: * Trying new formats for sessions * Exploring new topics * Rotating or refreshing leadership roles We’ll also check in on the big question: *where do we want OzBerry to go from here?* 🎨✨ **Show & Tell** Share what you’ve been working on—big or small! Then we’ll ease back into casual OzBerry hangouts and tinkering. 🧳 **4:00 PM – Wrap Up** Pack up, head home, maybe write a bit more code, and dream up something fun to share next time 🚀 What do we need to bring ? Nothing or ... ## Suggested hardware If you want to get started. * ESP32 or [Raspberry Pi ](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRSPKPNG) Also bring a laptop to program your card. If you’ve got something to show off, teach, rant about, or demo — even a quick five-minute lightning talk — please tell me. I am really looking forward to catching up with everyone soon. For those that really like to plan ahead, we will be meeting up on the third Saturday of every month except for July that will be on the 25th instead. I hope that you can make it - see you soon. Cheers Erik \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Thanks to Simon, we have a **Facebook** page for **OzBerry** https://www.facebook.com/share/yHsx3iKHAwkNkAHs/ Have you seen it yet ? If not why not ? For the next meeting we are starting at the usual time ... (10:00am-4:00pm) and I will appreciate some help as usual for the kids session in particular. I am really impressed with their Python and Pi skills and we hope to be able to keep up, and also introduce some new topics that work. I learn new things each week like how to debug "Scratch" Robots and how to get remote controls to work in the correct direction. If only I could learn to type as fast as these youngsters :) So please come and go as you like, and don't let me stop you ducking out for some lunch or coffee. If you have a child, It's easy to become a member of the library so that you can be issued with one of the kits. You need to see the library staff to book as well, as there is a limit of 10 because it gets too busy, crowded and noisy otherwise. So please book now to avoid disappointment. **Where - Chatswood Library.** Lower Ground, The Concourse, 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood 2067. Parking is usually difficult and I prefer to use the Train or Metro or just park all day near Beauchamp Park and walk a few blocks for exercise. The Metro may be down again, so it will pay to check if you will have a slow bus instead. If you like meeting up with all different experimenters and coders then please come along. Also consider bringing a project to build and discuss problems you are having with the group - we will most likely have someone in the group that will know how to help. OzBerry events encompass a wide range of Open Source Hardware and Software on many popular platforms, including but not limited to: Arduino, RaspberryPi, Beaglebone, Android and more… if it plugs in and is programmable then it's a good fit. We share ideas and help each other solve bugs and design issues that might otherwise be difficult on your own. We try to exhibit both hobby and professional projects each month. Beginners are always welcome, we often have beginner events running. If you are just curious or starting out, all you need is a laptop, we will get you started on one of Chatswood Libraries Raspberry Pi kits, with your library card. Or just come along and have a look, it's up to you. We can also shed some light on the ESP32, "Internet of Things" and LoRa. **Format** 6 hours of relaxed, unstructured collaboration and learning, come and go as you please. Help others or ask for help with your project. No pressure. But most importantly, remember to "Be excellent to each other" - https://github.com/OzBerry/code-of-conduct Share a micro talk. Get up and speak about your project (or another topic of interest) (optional). Please let Jamie, Simon or Erik know what you would like a tutorial on, or even better, volunteer to present something new. **What to Bring** We suggest a laptop at a minimum. Your project if you have one, or some hardware that you'd like to tinker with. If you are a member of the library or would like to join, there are various electronic devices you can borrow: mBots, Makey Makey, and a Droid Inventor and drumroll please ... Raspberry Pi's . You may like to join our discussion list, by sending a blank email to: ozberry+subscribe@googlegroups.com or join on the web: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/ozberry * **Library Info** Children policy in the Library - children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library. [https://libraries.willoughby.nsw.gov.au/About-us/Policies-and-Guidelines#section-8](https://libraries.willoughby.nsw.gov.au/About-us/Policies-and-Guidelines#section-8) Thank you, we hope to see you soon. How PMs Build Better Systems for Planning and Delivery in 2026

How PMs Build Better Systems for Planning and Delivery in 2026

Wed, May 6, 8:00 AM
From ProductTank Sydney
4.6

We’re excited to bring you a special **ProductTank Sydney and Notion collaboration** this May 🥳 This session explores how product managers are **actually building systems for planning and delivery in 2026** i from roadmaps and priorities to team workflows and day-to-day execution. Product work today is messy. Tools are evolving quickly, expectations are higher, and there’s constant pressure to move fast without losing clarity. At the same time, many teams are shifting away from heavy processes toward lighter, more flexible systems that better reflect how work actually gets done. During this event, you’ll hear **real examples** from product leaders and community members on how they structure their work i what’s working, what’s not, and how they think about trade-offs. You’ll also get a chance to see **real Notion setups used by speakers** in their day-to-day work, including how they organise roadmaps, priorities and workflows in practice. 🎤 You’ll hear from: **James Kwong** \- Chief Product Officer @ Unleash Live Leads product vision and strategy across AI and computer vision products. 10+ years across tech, fintech, and healthcare, including experience at BCG Digital Ventures. **Hojae Jung** \- Senior Product Manager @ Unleash Live \(Orb platform\) Leading product for an AI-powered asset intelligence platform. Previously at SafetyCulture and Cover Genius, delivering 0–1 products and scaling self-service tools. **James Entwisle** \- Product Manager @ Fresh Clinics Builds AI-powered internal tools for GTM & Ops teams. Previous experience at Channel 7 and Sonic Healthcare. We’ll feature a mix of practical talks and community showcases, along with **a Notion-led walkthrough of workflow automation** for PM use cases, showing how these capabilities are applied within real workflows. Expect actionable takeaways, candid Q&A, and plenty of time to connect with other PMs over food and drinks. ✨ Huge thanks to **Notion** for supporting this event and **Stone & Chalk** for hosting us at their Sydney space! This is a great opportunity to see how product teams are actually working today and walk away with ideas you can apply immediately.

We’re stoked to be collaborating with [Remarkable Disability Tech Accelerator](https://www.remarkable.org/) and [Atlassian](https://www.atlassian.com/) to celebrate [Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)](https://accessibility.day/) this year. The purpose of GAAD is to “get everyone talking, thinking, and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than one billion people with disabilities/impairments”. GAAD is on 21 May, so we’re celebrating a couple of days early… and for SydDT regulars, yes we’re doing this on a Tuesday! Remarkable’s mission is to “empower disability tech innovators by providing the training, capital, and networks they need to create a future that is accessible, equitable and inclusive for all”. Accessibility is also core to Atlassian’s mission – to unleash the potential of every team. We’ll have short talks by people working directly on inclusive and accessible solutions, followed by a panel. Speakers will be announced soon 😃 **SPEAKERS** Speakers will be announced soon… **EVENT SPONSORS** This event is brought to you by [Atlassian](https://www.atlassian.com)**,** [Remarkable](https://www.remarkable.org/), and [Dynamic4](https://dynamic4.com/).
