Please meet at the playground parking area by the restrooms at Amerson Water Works park.
Amerson River Park, also known as Amerson Water Works Park, is an urban park in Macon, Georgia. The park was closed after the flood of 1994. In 2015, the park was re-opened and named Amerson River Park after renovations were made costing 5.5 million dollars.

This is an easy trail and we will hike about 4 miles, but if someone would like to do only 2 miles it's very easy to do that!

Hiking about 6 miles.The Arabia Mountain Trail Nature center has parking and portalet toilets.

Don't forget sunscreen, hat, water, snacks, poles....

Come and explore Georgia's fine Aquarium with your hiking Buddies. We can have lunch afterward and also nearby is the Coca-Cola museum for anybody who would like to explore that in the afternoon as long as we're in the big city.
