Shirts cost $25. This fundraiser supports the cost of our Meetup page, which Donny pays every year. Wear one to spread the word about our great group of people who love the outdoors.
I will be selling shirts before and after all events I attend (cash only). Limit of one shirt per person. At present, we have a limited number of shirts. If your size is not available, please let me know. We will place a second order for specific sizes soon.
There's no need to register as "attending" on this event. I only posted it to let everyone know about the shirts.
Hey guys I'm trying to gather info on people interested in carpooling so as many people as possible can join us on this wonderful hike! If you're interested in either hitching a ride, or driving please join this event.
Those that are able to lend a seat please comment below so that we can organize!
Providence Canyon State Park hike.
For those that want to carpool, Victor will be setting up closer to the event a meeting place and time TBD.
Everyone meetup at the visitor center and from there we'll split into two different groups, fast and slow\scenic. Victor will lead the slower group around the canyons ridge and dip down into the canyons for about 3-4 miles. Tricia will lead the faster group on the upper rim trail, then onto the backcountry and then down into the canyons 3, 4 and 5. Our goal of the two groups is to end at similar times for carpooling purposes. The time for event is only an approximate.
Expect walking through some water in creekbeds in the canyons. Bring usual hiking gear, water and snacks. Dogs on leash are welcomed.
