Join us for a hike at one of Macon's most fascinating hidden treasures—a place rich in history, culture, heritage, mystery, and intrigue. Explore ancient Native American ceremonial earth mounds and visit the museum featuring remarkable artifacts that tell the story of the area's past.
This unique historic park offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature while learning about an important piece of Georgia's history. We plan to hike approximately 4 miles at a moderate pace.
Come enjoy great company, beautiful scenery, and an unforgettable journey through time!

What to bring: Water, bug spray, a friend or two, and a smile.

After the hike, we may grab something to eat. Anyone interested is welcome to join us.

Park rules: Dogs are also able to use this trails but must be kept on leash at all times.
