Hi everyone,
This will be our first time having an event at the community room in my apartment building. Thanks to our co-organizer Leah for recommending an absolute classic: the award-winning 1984 film "Carmen" by Georges Bizet, starring Placido Domingo and Julia Migenes.
Set in Andalucia, Spain in 1820, "Carmen" is the story of a passionate and violent love triangle. Some of the most famous and recognizable tunes in all of opera.

Showtime will be at 6:00 for the benefit of everyone who needs to be up on Monday, but you're all welcome to come by between 3-5 for food and drinks (outside if the weather permits).
