About us
Are you looking to make connections? Is finding friends hard? Maybe tea with strangers is a way to break the ice. The goal is to try and meet new people crossing ages and backgrounds with small’ish groups. I wanted to give credit to Ankit Shah, as I am borrowing his idea.
5-10-2026: Sorry for the delay, I am new to setting up Meetup. I will be working to setup small events.
I have organizing a handful of sessions since January. Even so I’d just ask people to bear with me while I iron out the meetup settings.
I had only a few initial affirmations about what I was trying here:
- Make it something where people can gather and talk over tea or coffee.
- Have the group be small enough where we can hear each other and engage (no phones)
- Hopefully in a space conducive to conversation. With Spring, I am hoping we can use a few parks? We tried some businesses in the Winter and that worked okay. With the sun being out and better weather, the hope is we can gather somewhere neat.
- I want to encourage everyone to just be yourself.
