Welcome to the inaugural Madison West Writers Group craft discussion!
This event will function similarly to our usual critiques, except instead of submitting prose for review, slots will be available for attendees to submit topics for craft discussion.
Potential topics include:
- Novel outline review
- Dialogue questions
- Character discussion
- Ending questions
- Worldbuilding questions
- Character arc review
- Focused critique sessions on craft like action scenes or dialogue (multiple passages are accepted under 2,000 word limit, critique will be focused on specified craft and NOT overall passage)
- Other inquiries can be directed to Marly.
The more information you can provide in your prompt, the better. Please submit it as a Google doc in the comments. If you are new to MWWG, it is recommended to attend a session before you submit! All genres welcomed.
As this is the first meeting of this kind, we’re unsure how long each discussion will take so feel free to submit even if four slots are taken so that we have spillover if needed.
