Come out for our fall event! Networking, referral exchange, and stimulating discussion with fellow mission-driven divorce professionals in the Philadelphia region. Therapists, financial advisors, mediators, coaches, realtors, and more.
Continental breakfast included.
OUR ROUNDTABLE TALK:
Despite advances, abuse of women is still the cause of 33% of divorces. Unfortunately, abuse typically does not end when a woman leaves the marriage. Current systems and professionals involved in divorce proceedings inadvertently further the abuse of victims who made the brave choice to leave.
In our peer-to-peer discussion, we’ll talk financial abuse, psychological and emotional violence and neglect. With new findings, we’ll debunk myths around abuse and learn how abuse is perpetuated in the divorce process for women vs men. We’ll also share ideas for how to better support your clients as well as what collaborative advocacy efforts could look like.
Facilitated by: Miriah Rutledge, LMFT & Founder of Choosing Change Counseling in King of Prussia
