About us
Looking to make new friends? Yeah, us too! It's tricky to meet new friends in a new town, or when life changes. We’ve done meetups and generally like them, but when they're focused on a topic or activity, we find we don't make enduring relationships there. So that's the purpose of this one. No topics, or agendas, just meeting and enjoying each other's company.
We'll meet at a happy hour, do co-working sessions, or just get Saturday morning coffee. We've also done small side excursions for cross-country skiing and ice skating, whatever people want to do!
Since the goal is friendship, you don't need to worry about showing up alone and not having anyone to talk to. We’ll welcome you in and make sure you're a part of the conversation. But you'll probably find a friendly face before you even get to us. :)
You’ll also notice a donation option at the bottom. We recently added that to help cover the fees we pay. Anything left over will be distributed to hosts to pay for their time in setting things up. If you get something out of these events, please consider it, but this is 100% optional!

📍 Where: El Patio @ 1949 Market St, DenverLook for people with nametags. We will have a designated area inside for our event (look to the comments on the day of the event). Please feel free to mingle around the venue to different rooms and dance floors.
We know some folks may feel anxious about meeting new people or find it awkward going to an event alone. If that describes you, please introduce yourself to us so we can extend a warm welcome and 🤗 connect you with others. We'll do our best to make you feel comfortable.

- Do people really make friends? Yes! We have many stories of people hanging out, building friendships, meeting for coffee or drinks, and going adventuring.
- What is El Patio? A spacious popular indoor/ outdoor venue with food and drinks. At night it turns into a dance club on the rooftop patio.
- Where do I park? There is street or garage parking and usually you can find a spot within a block or two of the venue. We recommend taking public transportation or a rideshare if you can.

The Great Gauntlet | A Skill & Teamwork Challenge 🤝⏱️🍻
Bierstadt Lagerhaus, 2875 Blake Street, Denver, CO, USWhat better way to bond with new friends than an epic showdown of skill, luck, and teamwork?? 🤝⏱️🍻May the odds be ever in your favor as we fold paper, stack cups, solve puzzles, topple dominoes, and roll dice like our lives depend on it.
Every Wednesday in August at Bierstadt Lagerhaus, we'll have a fresh spin on The Great Gauntlet ready for you, with new games, new teams, and new prizes.
Show up solo or bring a crew - either way you'll have to work with strangers if you want a chance to climb the leaderboard and claim the title of champion.
Every mini-game comes with a chance to earn points that can be redeemed for free drinks and prizes. The goal is to have fun while working together to solve problems and rise above the pack. Think Squid Games but with handshakes and high fives instead of deadly eliminations.
I will be running the show as your event host, and I'll also have some support from other community organizers to ensure everyone gets connected into a group, meets new people, and has a great time.
This event is free to attend and play. Your RSVP is appreciated as a sign of interest in attending - no worries if your plans change closer to then.

Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a German-inspired brewpub in Denver's RiNo neighborhood that's been named "Best Colorado Brewery" and "Best Lager Brewery In The Country," with a wide range of delicious draughts, Bavarian bites, and zero proof options to satisfy everyone's palate. | MenuFree parking is available in the brewery's lot and on the streets throughout the surrounding neighborhood.
