We’re throwing it back to a time when making new friends was as easy as kicking a ball 🔴, sharing some sunscreen🌞, and cheers-ing with popsicles🧊. We’re bringing wholesome summer fun back to Sloan’s Lake for a park picnic x field day x backyard barbecue all rolled up in one.

- Grills & gas
- Burgers, dogs, buns, cheese, condiments, toppings
- Popsicles and fresh fruit
- Water and NA drinks
- Cornhole, Badminton, Oversized Jenga
- Plates, Napkins, Cutlery, Cups, Ice, Trash Bags
- Shade (covered shelter, a canopy, and a few umbrellas)
- Picnic tables
- Speakers / Music
FEEL FREE TO BRING
- A comfy lawn chair or blanket
- Well-behaved children and dogs
- Lawn games or other activities to share (kickball, volleyball, bocce, etc.)
- Shareable picnic sides and snacks, extra grillables, vegetarian/vegan options
- Extra shade canopies and plenty of sunscreen

We know large meetups like this can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time attending a meetup or connecting with this group. Don’t let the RSVP count scare you away from attending. You can anticipate a turnout closer to half the listed number, and many smaller clusters of conversation rather than one giant group. We’ll have an inflatable palm tree, signage, decorations, and nametags to help you find the group.
Bad weather backup plan will be a takeover of Edgewater Public Market.
