Friendsgiving Potluck Brunch
Details
We're taking a moment to celebrate our gratitude for strangers-that-became-friends and a welcoming community that makes showing up solo feel easier with a friendsgiving brunch! Come hungry, bring something tasty, and leave with a full stomach and a few new friends. Friendsgiving is a celebration of the friends we made along the way!
๐ฝ๏ธ WHAT TO BRING
Bring an appetizer, salad, side dish, or dessert to share! Once you decide what you're bringing, drop it in the comments so we can avoid ending up with 15 bowls of the same thing. Plan to bring about 8-10 servings of whatever you make - if everyone does the same, we should have plenty of food for everyone!
Need some inspo? Here's a few ideas, and storebought is totally fine!
๐ฅ Potatoes: Mashed, scalloped, au gratin, sweet potato casserole
๐ฅ Salads: garden, Caesar, pasta, fruit, coleslaw, cranberry
๐ฅฆ Veggies: Green bean casserole, glazed carrots, brussel sprouts, stuffed mushrooms
๐ง Apps & snacks: Deviled eggs, charcuterie, cheese and crackers, dips, veggie or fruit trays, pinwheels
๐ฒ Baked dishes: Stuffing, mac and cheese, breakfast casserole, pasta, enchiladas, quiche
๐ Breads & Rolls: Dinner rolls, cornbread, biscuits, garlic bread, focaccia
๐ฅง Desserts: Pumpkin, pecan, apple or cherry pie, cookies, brownies, cheesecake, cobbler, pastries, cinnamon rolls
๐ฅฃ Sauces & Toppings: Gravy, cranberry sauce, honey butter, chutneys, whipped cream
๐ THE TURKEY SITUATION
There will be no turkey unless someone exceptionally generous wants to volunteer to handle the whole production. Otherwise, I'll bring a few Costco rotisserie chickens to fill that role. We're keeping this potluck simple, delicious, and low-stress!
๐ HELP US PLAN
We're suggesting a $10 donation to help cover supplies like plates, napkins, serving utensils, warming and cooling trays, and other event expenses, while also supporting the hosts who make these community gatherings happen.
Please confirm your RSVP by contributing in advance. Advance contributions help us plan food, supplies, and space more accurately, so they really do make a difference!
