Makers Who Sell: Show & Tell (Real Stories from Local Makers)
MakeHaven, 770 Chapel St, New Haven, CT, USCome meet local makers who turn ideas into things people actually buy. Hear how they got started, where they sell, and what actually works. This Small Business Week event at MakeHaven will feature 3 member makers sharing what they make, how they sell it, and what they’ve learned along the way. After the featured talks, we’ll open it up for brief, optional sharing from attendees. If you make and sell products, art, objects, kits, apparel, or other creative work, bring something to show. If you’re curious about starting or testing a small maker business, come listen, ask questions, and connect.
What does it look like to go from making things for fun to making things that actually sell?

After the featured shares, we’ll open it up for quick introductions and optional around-the-room sharing (about 30–60 seconds each). Attendees are encouraged to bring an item, sample, prototype, or product they make and sell—or hope to sell someday.
