New Members Induction. You MUST bring 2 ID’s - Please read in detail

DO NOT ARRIVE LATE. We will not admit you after 18:30 as a late start means a late finish and that is not fair to the other members being inducted.

PLEASE READ and FOLLOW these steps:

1. Attended a ‘See the Space’ tour : https://www.meetup.com/Makespace/events/. You will be given code during tour.
2. Join the wait list with the code given at the See the Space
3. Ensure that you have your Google email account credentials and any two factor authentication information.
4. Make your payment. Please do this on the morning of your induction. Click here to set up the payments: https://makespace.recurly.com/subscribe/makespace-membership-full
5. Bring 2 forms of ID: 1) Government issued photo ID, 2) Proof of address
6. Start the membership form by visiting here:
   https://web.makespace.org/induction-form/ and clicking on the link to the induction form.

The form will ask for your name/address and to read the membership agreements. Please, complete that form until you reach a point where it tells you to stop and wait for the inductor.

7. Attend the induction. At the door, you will be asked if you have completed the above steps.

At the induction you will reopen the induction form you started at home. When you log in with the same information, your data will be there.
Then inductor will check your ID. Then there will be a short talk about how Makespace works including our safety and training systems and how to (you can preview the presentation here. The inductor will lead you on a safety tour of the workshops. Lastly you will subscribe to the cammakespace Google Group ([https://groups.google.com/g/cammakespace](https://groups.google.com/g/cammakespace)) for announcements and discussions.
When all of that is complete you will be given your membership number so you can access our workshops and training systems.
Our aim is to have all the administration finished by 3:15 at which time you can join the other members in the workshops or start the online portion of your equipment training

• If you cannot make your induction, please cancel well in advance, cancelling late means that others do not have time to get to the induction.
