California River Quest 2026

California River Quest, an ultra-endurance canoe race on the Sacramento River in Northern California is on May 24th this year.

Other key dates leading up to the event:
— Saturday, May 10, 2026: race registration closes
— Saturday, May 23, 2026: mandatory gear and boat inspection. You are required to have a USCG-approved Type III PFD (or equivalent on the new USCG scale).

With several courses from 25 to 100 miles, it is an outstanding event for seasoned pros and ultra-racing newcomers alike.

Sunday 5/24: Race day.
6 AM start for 100 mile
6:20 AM start for 75 mile
6:40 AM start for 50 mile
7:00 AM start for 25 mile
$150 for event registration
