You can find a link to our Zoom meeting in the Western Mass Go Club (WMGC) OGS room here: https://online-go.com/group/4681
Players from anywhere are welcome. We've had players show up from as far away as Hawaii, England and Japan.
Starting at 9:30, Trevor and Nick host a Twitch stream, "The MassGo Variety Show". Show up early and we'll likely figure out how to loop your into the festivities!
- [CAMBRIDGE] Saturday Go - Beginners Welcome!Cambridge Public Library, Cambridge, MA
This is a weekly Go meetup hosted by the Massachusetts Go Association, meeting weekly at the Cambridge public library.
We have regular attendance, typically somewhere between 4 and 20 players with a wide variety of strengths.
We usually set up on the ground floor seating area next to the stairs, immediately to the right of the main entrance.
There usually is no shortage of boards and go equipment, but bringing a set is appreciated, if you have one.
We always welcome beginners and new players, and will be happy to teach any newcomers how to play if they so wish :)
If you have any questions post here, or check out the MGA Discord channel: https://discord.gg/vaRg8bDqUS
We look forward to seeing you!
P.S: many people don't RSVP for this event, so the number of meetup attendees is not an indication of the number of people to expect. Feel free to reach out on meetup or Discord if in doubt.
- MIT Go Club games and beginner lessonsStratton Student Center, Cambridge, MA
MIT Go Club is at it again! Join us for casual games, lessons, and socializing.
Players of all levels from MIT and the greater Boston area, including beginners, are welcome. No experience necessary, we'll teach you how to play!
Since our usual spaces in the student center are closed early due to flooding and renovations, we don't have a nice, regular meeting space for the time being. Keep checking the meetup events or the MIT Go Club mailing list for changes as I try to keep getting us satisfactory space, for the time being I have been reserving empty classrooms.
Those who aren't MIT students will likely need to be let in to the building if I can't figure out a way to leave it unlocked, so when you arrive you can either 1) Message me on meetup 2) Send me an email at email@example.com 3) Message me on discord, username hughhig (you can find me on the MGA discord page)
This map shows the location of different buildings, we were meeting in W20 and I am trying to reserve spaces as close to that as possible for simplicity.
This week we are meeting in 4-153, which is on the FIRST floor of building 4.
