What we're about

We are a secular non-profit organization of atheists, agnostics, and secular humanists, who believe in rational thought and science, and reject any supernatural requirements for a deity. We meet regularly to socialize, to exchange ideas and expand our knowledge through speakers on a variety of topics.

Please note that being a "member" of this Meetup group does not make you a member of HAAM; there's a small yearly fee to become a member (http://mbhumanistsatheists.ca/join-us/). Our regular monthly meetings are open to members and non-members alike, but our book club meetings and roundtable discussions are for members only, as is our extensive lending library.

You can read our position statements (http://mbhumanistsatheists.ca/position-statements/) to get a better sense of our values as a group. Please note that you do not have to agree with all of them in order to be a member.
