What we're about

We are a group of like-minded people who are practitioners in both meditation and yoga. We like to invite you to join us in this journey where we can create a sense of balance and awareness in both our minds and bodies through the practice of meditation and yoga.
Meditation is both widely researched on and proven to help us in better managing our stress levels, increasing mental wellbeing by elevating the levels of happiness and fulfillment and heighten our level of self-awareness. While Yoga is more than physical exercise, but an integrated system of movements, exercises and breathing techniques that create a union of all our body systems with the environment and nature. Together with meditation, yoga helps to create a holistic well being to our mind and body.
This meetup is for you if you are curious what meditation and / or yoga is all about, how to practice meditation and yoga, seeking people with the same energy and commitment to practice together and finding ways in managing our stress levels, rebalancing our life and gaining a better physical health.

Morning Yin Yoga

Needs a location

Indulge in a slow-paced yoga practice that’ll teach you the art of stillness, that will will leave you feeling relaxed, calm, and centred.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced yoga practice that comes from the Taoist tradition and focuses on passive, seated postures that target the connective tissues in the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Yin Yoga teaches you the art of stillness, as you hold poses for anywhere between one and five minutes, allowing you to stretch your primary connective tissues. The aim is to increase flexibility and encourage a feeling of release and letting go.

Yin yoga will show you how to release stress from your mind and body, to cultivate a deeper sense of awareness. Hence, whether you are looking for a way to still your mind and relief from stress, or looking to release tension from overworked joints and to relax, this practice is for you.

This practice brings balance to our "Yang" or vigorous / active lifestyle, which makes it a perfect complement to dynamic styles of Yoga.

You can reap the following benefits:
- Using breathing to achieve a state of relaxation to manage your stress levels
- Relaxes and decompresses your body as you feel the deep stretch to your connective tissues, releasing tensions
- Gaining greater mobility and flexibility with regular practice

Yoga Morning Fresh (October 2022)

Needs a location

Welcome the morning with gentle stretches to energise and rejuvenate your body. Guided gentle Hatha yoga moves with focus on the body breath and mind to train the mind to be in the present moment and to enjoy the journey that life brings.

Suitable for all levels.

The session will be "Donate-as-you-wish" and 100% of the donations will be going to the charity SUN-DAC, a day activity centre for adults with moderate to severe intellectual disability. 2.5 times Tax exempt receipt is available.

What to bring:
Please bring your own mat, ground sheet to protect your mat from the dew and water bottle. There will be a short quiet sitting before lessons begin. Dress to allow for stretching and lying down.

Greet the morning with stretches and postures to awaken your body and mind.

After a long and busy work week, we all looked forward to a good weekend to rest and refresh. We like to invite you to join us for a 75 minutes of energising yoga session, while being surrounded by plants and nature.

Suitable for all levels based on Hatha Yoga.

Why do we need to register in EventBrite?
