Meet Cute Club is a community for intentional singles 40+ who are ready to meet people in real life again.
If you’re tired of endless swiping, low-effort dating, and trying to make connections through a screen, you’re in the right place.
This group is designed for singles who value:

We host curated social events, mixers, happy hours, game nights, activity-based events, and conversations designed to help people connect more naturally — whether you’re looking for friendship, companionship, dating, or a meaningful relationship.
This is not a hookup group, and it’s not traditional speed dating. Think: intentional, welcoming, low-pressure events with people who actually want to be there.
Most events will take place around Richmond and surrounding areas.

Test your useless knowledge and support a local business at the same time! Join us for trivia at Benchtop Brewing.
There's a parking garage next to the brewery, which is $3/hour. The brewery offers beer (of course), hard seltzer-based cocktails, snacks and gourmet hot dogs.

Join Meet Cute Club for an evening of virtual speed dating for Richmond-area singles ages 40-65. You’ll have a series of short one-on-one video dates, 5 minutes each. After each date, you choose whether you’d like to connect with that person. If you both say yes, you’re a match, and we’ll send your matches by email and text after the event.
How it works- Get your ticket on Eventbrite.
- We’ll send your link and a short profile form by email and text.
- Log in a few minutes early for a quick camera and sound check.
- Meet your dates one at a time. The system moves you from one to the next automatically.
- After each date, choose whether you’d like to connect. Only mutual choices become matches.
- After the event, we’ll send your matches by email and text within 24 hours.
What you’ll need
- A computer, tablet or phone with a working camera and microphone
- A quiet, private space and a stable internet connection
- About 90 minutes
What to expect
It’s relaxed and low pressure. You won’t click with everyone, and that’s fine. Be yourself, be kind and have fun. You can leave any date at any time and return to the lobby to talk to the host.
Good to know- Guests must keep their cameras on.
