Are you a wine lover looking for like-minded people? New to the world of wine and interested in trying and learning new things? Just want to grab a glass with some good food and great conversation? This could be the group for you!
Let's explore the options in the Sacramento area, from urban wineries, to fancy wine dinners, to checking out a restaurant with a great list. Oh, and brunch. There will definitely be brunch.
Membership dues are $5/year, but you can try us out for 30 days before paying dues.
All are welcome, though 21+ is a must. Wine consumption is always optional.
No-show policy: Please be respectful of others and change your RSVP to "no" if you cannot attend an event. If you no-show three times you may be removed from the group.

Let’s head into the gorgeous wine country of Yolo County for a private tasting and tour at Collina De Bella Winery. This women-owned winery is close to Winters, CA, and is not generally open to the public. We’re invited to their Boots in the Barn experience
“From within our cozy barn, learn about the history of the hill and the seasonal viticultural practices while viewing the breathtaking hillside vines. Tour adjacent rows to learn to identify the difference in our grape varieties and witness the abundant local wildlife.”
🍷 What to expect:
- The tour and tasting that begins promptly at 3pm, please plan to arrive by 2:50pm
- The fee $22/person, which I’m charging in advance since we have to prepay
- We will have the opportunity to walk briefly among the vines, so choose your footwear wisely
- After tasting, those who want can head into nearby Winters for an early dinner
🏠 About the venue:
- Collina De Bella is located in the hills near Winters
- The winery is not open to the public and only offers private tours. Because it's a private residence, we will share the address with those who've officially signed up a few days prior to the event.
Not open - Just For Fun: Seka Hills Midtown Tasting RoomSeka Hills Tasting Room, Sacramento, CA
The Seka Hills midtown tasting room has been open for a minute, but this group has never been. Let’s meet up for great wine, food, and conversation.
🍷 What to expect:
- Seka Hills offers guided tasting flights as well as wine by the glass or bottle
- They also have a full kitchen and extensive menu
- We have a reservation for 6-8pm
- Bring cash to cover your food and beverage selections
🏠 About the venue:
- Seka Hills is owned and operated by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
- They close at 8pm
- The location is in midtown, so parking can be scarce. Plan ahead.
- As a tasting room, they also have a lot of artisan goods for sale. Early presents?!
- Wine + Dinner at Revolution Winery & Kitchenrevolution wines, Sacramento, CA
Revolution Winery & Kitchen bills itself as a neighborhood craft winery & restaurant in midtown Sacramento. All wines are made onsite, and their outdoor patio is the perfect spot for fall evenings!
🍷 What to expect:
- We’ll have a fun, casual evening with new and old friends.
- We have a reservation for the patio. They do have heaters but bring a layer in case the Delta breeze is feeling frisky.
- Bring cash to cover your own food and drinks.
🏠 About the venue:
- Revolution has a small parking lot shared with Temple Coffee and the Sacramento Food Co-op. There’s also some street parking, but plan time to find it.
- They have a full kitchen and a very eclectic menu that is very vegetarian and vegan-friendly.
- They offer wine by the glass or bottle, flights, iced tea, and local beers and ciders

📍Where? ALMA Wine Bar (1200 S St, Suite B) this month. ALMA has a small rotating food menu, all small bites. You may want to eat in advance.
📖 What book are we reading? Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera.
⌛ How long do I have to read the book? We will discuss the book in its entirety at this meeting. If you haven't finished, expect spoilers, but still come!
