Greek Wine Tasting (fee)

Hosted By
Suzanne B. and Jennie S.

Details
You know what goes with hot summer weather? Wines from Greece! Greek wines are becoming more popular as people discover the unique wines nurtured by this country with an ancient wine history. From Assyrtiko, Greece’s most well known white varietal, to Xinomavro, which is often called Greece’s answer to Nebbiolo, there’s a lot to explore.
🍷 What to expect:
- Bring a bottle of your chosen Greek wine OR bring a Greek-inspired snack to share.
- No blind tasting this time. We’re going for education 🎓
- If you bring a bottle of wine, read up on the varietal so you can share a bit about it with the group. If that makes you nervous you can tell Suzanne what you know and she will share for you!
- To ensure we have enough food, we’re asking for a $10/person fee.
🏠 About the venue:
- We’ll be tasting at Jennie’s home.
- Her home is in the South Sacramento area near the border with Elk Grove. The address will be shared with attendees the week of the event.

💡Have an idea for our next private tasting?
- We’re looking for ideas and for people willing to host at least 10 people.
- Message Suzanne Budd on Meetup.
