An Educational Experience & Preview of Our EPIC Day of Service
Before we plant, we learn. Before we act, we connect.
Join Denver Metro South Rotary for a meaningful and inspiring gathering inside one of Denver’s most iconic spaces—the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion.
This special event brings together community members, professionals, and changemakers to explore how small, local actions can contribute to a global movement to protect pollinators—a mission championed by Rotary International’s Operation Pollination initiative.
Together, we’ll discover how creating pollinator-friendly spaces supports biodiversity, strengthens food systems, and builds healthier communities—right here in Colorado and around the world.

  • EPIC Day of Service - Operation Pollination

EPIC Day of Service - Operation Pollination

Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center, 11280 Waterton Rd, Littleton, CO, US

Don’t Worry About the Food Supply and Drought. Do something about it.
Grocery prices are up. Colorado’s experiencing a severe drought. That’s adding up to a quiet crisis: the collapse of the very insects that make a third of the American food supply possible. Wild bee populations in North America have collapsed by up to
96% in two decades, according to the Xerces Society. One in three bites of food, from almonds to blueberries to avocados, exists because a pollinator showed up to work that day. Right now, they are losing that battle.
