About us
Thee GFWC-IL Plainfield Junior Woman’s Club (PJWC) was founded in 2008 as a non for profit organization, dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others
through volunteer services. PJWC provides an opportunity for women to get involved in their
community through volunteer service. Women involved in our organization will also gain
personal growth through leadership training and development. PJWC is a Subsidiary of
General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Illinois (GWFC). This organization is one of the
largest service organizations, and we are proud to be of 250 clubs in Illinois. PJWC is
recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization and holds a 501(c)(3) status.
