SWAC Basketball Fundraiser

If you would like to help with wrapping in December, you must sign up for a shift at the SWAC Bball tournament in October (link below to google sheet with shift sign up). Please only sign up for one shift (these are the only shifts available - if they are filled, please add your name to the waiting list below shift sign ups).
PJWC works the admission table collecting the admission fee from parents and spectators (players, coaches, cheerleaders, national anthem singer/band, concession stand volunteers, etc do not pay). We also help monitor the flow of people. Making sure that everyone comes in through the entrance door and exits through the exit door - no entry through the exit door. The most successful setup has been to place the check in table in-between the entrance and exit. One member collects money, one member stamps or wristbands the payer. One member directs traffic out through the exit door and makes sure no one comes in through the exit door when a game ends and a large group is leaving - if they do come in through the exit, we request that they exit and re-enter through the proper door (or just make sure that if they do enter through the exit door, they come around to the front of the admission table and pay their fee). In the past years, the fee has been $1 for students and senior citizens, $3 for adults. The Plainfield Police Dept will have a method for credit card payments this year. At the end of the night, a PJWC member will deliver the cash box to a member of the Plainfield Police Department.
***Exit Door #2 (athletes and coaches can enter through this door) Public and spectators are to enter door #1. Everyone exits through door 2.
When the 4pm shift arrives, the doors will be locked...use the intercom button at door #1 to ask for entry - report that you are a volunteer from PJWC
