Hey everyone! So it looks like this week is a bit of a washout weather wise. Saturday may be somewhat safe from the rain, but we're going to play it safe and pick an indoor spot to start the night. It's been awhile since we've visited GPub so let's grab a few cocktails while we play some games!
If you've never been to GPub it's a fun spot. The basement bar is located near the dead center of downtown, so it's in a great location. They have a nice lounge in the back away from the madness near the bar that we can hang in if it's not already claimed. GPub also has plenty of games for us to enjoy while we sip our drinks and chat. They have your typical bar games such as pool tables and shuffleboard. However, in recent years they expended their game selection by adding an arcade area. Not only do they now have air hockey which should be a crowd favorite (Paul sends pucks flying so be ready to duck), but they have plenty of arcade games from racing, basketball, and prize machines. They have a play until you win rubber ducky claw machine which is always popular with our group! Be ready to see a bunch of us walking around with new friends.
They have a massive bar with pretty much everything you can expect at sports bar. If you're craving a cocktail they can make most drinks that aren't super crafty. They also have plenty of beers on tap as well as seltzers, ciders, and canned cocktails available. There's something for every palate drink wise. There's also a kitchen if you come hungry. Not sure if people will need to group together for a table or if you can order at the bar, but check out the link below to see their menu.
After a couple hours we'll likely hit the road to move to another spot if the group wants to mix things up. There's plenty of other bars a short walk away.
