Rhode Island Pride (Part Two) Parade & Party!!

Hey everyone! This is the second part of our pride celebration for the day. If you want to also join us at the District Park festival earlier in the day, check out our first post. This event will be for the nighttime festivities.

Quick Notes :

If you plan to attend both the day time event and this event, there will be a gap between the two events of several hours. It may be a good time to go back home to drop off your car if you plan to drink. That's what the hosts will be doing haha

The organizers always try to avoid covers at bars we visit during our events, and this night will be no different. We will try to avoid any door charges for as long as we can. There should be block parties and plenty of bars we can get in for free. However, we do recommend having some cash just incase we do go to a spot that has a cover later in the night. The LGBTQIA+ bars/nightclubs tend to have covers during pride, and we may end the night at one possibly.

Let's stake out a spot for the parade along Dorrance Street. Please check our starting location before the start of the event. It may change once the hosts go hunting for a good spot along the parade route. We'll also be posting the comments.

Once the parade is over, we'll start the night at one of the nearby bars or block parties and see where the night takes us!

Parking is likely going to be difficult. We highly recommend a ride share if it's feasible. The parade is fairly long so if you're late it should give you time to find us, but some streets may be blocked for pedestrians. We'll post our location in the comments at the start of the night for those who miss the parade. Though, after enough drinks that may get less consistent later in the night haha
