What we're about

This Meetup group is for people who are NOT social media professionals, and who are business professionals who would say Yes to any one or more of these questions:

• Do you want to learn more about social media and related topics?
• Do your competitors have a stronger social media presence than you do?
• Do you get frustrated when people tease you for not being “social media savvy?”
• Do you dread using social media?
• Do you like to help others use social media more effectively and productively?

The Simplify Your Social Media Meetup Group offers you a free monthly opportunity to learn more about social media in a fun, interactive setting with typically 15-25 participants at each gathering.

Our meetings start with brief introductions by attendees, followed by a presentation by group organizer Joyce Feustel or someone else in the social media or related field, and conclude with informal networking.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time. We meet virtually via Zoom. When you RSVP for any of our meetings, you will get access to the link to register for the Zoom meeting.

Please note that this is a group for business people, and we do not tolerate any inappropriate private messages sent to a member via Meetup or via the chat feature in Zoom.

If you receive such a message, please report it to Joyce immediately via Zoom and also the name of person sending it. We have banned people from the group when they have violated this rule.

If you are interested in speaking to our group, submit your topic idea and some information about yourself to joyce@boomerssocialmediatutor.com

Cultivate Greater Work-Alignment Through Value-Driven Behavior

Link visible for attendees

Our meetings will continue to be held via Zoom for the foreseeable future. Once you RSVP via Meetup to attend this meeting, you will see the link that takes you to the registration form for the Zoom meeting. When you complete that form, Zoom sends you the link to the Zoom meeting for this event

Please arrive at the Zoom meeting about 5-10 minutes early to meet other attendees. Your doing that will help ensure that we start on time and end on time.

Each meeting starts with attendee introductions, and please keep them to about 20-30 seconds. Tell us your name, the nature of your business and your ideal clients.

After the participant introductions, our speaker presents for about 20-30 minutes, allowing time for questions. We make sure to end by about 2:25 p.m. to allow time for networking.

This month, Ariel Naftali, Executive Coach for Purpose-Driven Leaders, will present "Cultivate Greater Work-Alignment Through Value-Driven Behavior."

In this workshop, Ariel will help you create value-driven goals so that you can cultivate a work-life that feels authentically aligned and genuinely fulfilling for the remainder of 2022.

This will be an interactive workshop that touches on the following concepts:
- Identifying core values and personal definitions of success
- Letting go of “motivation” as a guiding force and committing to value-driven behavior
- Aligning work to authentic expression to feel more energized and engaged

What the research in performance psychology shows is that our values guide our decision-making, drive our actions, and influence our evaluation of success. Understanding what we value allows us to set goals that are personally meaningful, serving as a compass to ground us and guide us.

As an executive coach for purpose-driven leaders, Ariel helps empower genuine, impact-driven individuals to realize their unique purpose and potential through their work. She loves helping entrepreneurs and small business owners cultivate more fulfilling work lives by identifying their WHY and staying connected to it as they grow their business.

Ariel has presented twice previously for our Meetup group and is always very well-received.

Important to know:
Please honor the RSVP rule of only coming to the Meetup if you are on the RSVP list as a Yes.
