Wildlife Photography Around the Bay

Hello,

I'm Shrav and I'm a passionate wildlife photographer with over 15 years of experience photographing wildlife throughout North America and the world.

I'm creating this group for those who are passionate about wildlife, photography, and the outdoors to connect and learn from each other. I used to lead walks with the old Wildlife Photography Meetup group, which no longer exists since I was not the organizer and unfortunately, I could not revive the group.

• Social media self-promotion/sales of services will not be tolerated.
• The intent of this group is to learn, not make money.
• Locations of sensitive species will not be shared.
• Be respectful to each other and to wildlife.
• As an organizer, I will do my best to make sure weather & natural conditions are safe for photography. However, I'm not liable for any injuries or damages and anyone RSVPing to field events acknowledges this.

If any rules are broken, there will be one polite warning. If rules are broken again, you will be removed from the group.

My initial plan is to have 1 monthly field event as we were doing with the old group. The location will vary throughout the Bay Area depending on season and target species. I've set the location of the group to Milpitas, since it's central and adjacent to upland habitat and the water. Depending on how the group grows, I'm also open to conducting virtual presentations and trainings and inviting members to do so too if they are inclined.
