6,000 Member PATIO PARTY Celebration!!

This group has been in existence for less than two years, and already has over 6,000 members. I feel so grateful every day that so many positive, kind people participate in this group.

In order to celebrate, let's have a Patio Party at McMenamins on Broadway, which is an amazing 2nd floor location. It has a great patio which is reserved for our group. The patio is covered, so no need to worry about the sun or excess heat. This patio is a hidden gem in Portland and a very enjoyable space in the summer.

If you are new to Meetup, or if coming to a social event makes you a little anxious, please know I will try to personally greet everyone who comes to this event. And also help introduce you into a conversation, if you like.

This event is different than most other meetup events, as we have a space dedicated exclusively to our group. So, if you have been a little anxious in the past about showing up to an event and not knowing who to talk to, that will not be an issue here.

The event starts at 6pm, but please feel free to stop by anytime while the event is going on. There is no such thing as being late.

I suggest thinking about some interests/hobbies/passions you may want to talk about for this event. I have found that a good start to finding friends is to share a hobby or interest or passion.
