ALCOHOL FREE Event - Sunday Brunch at The Heist

I believe connecting with other people is what brings purpose and meaning to our lives. So, if you think your life would be enriched by making a new friend or two, this event is for you!

I know a lot of people have been requesting an alcohol-free event, so this event is for everyone who requested it.

We will be meeting up at The Heist, which is a popular pod of 18 food carts in SE Portland.

There may be some carts that sell alcohol, so I would request that for this event, you abstain from purchasing any alcoholic drinks while you are interacting with the group.

This event will be cohosted with the Facebook group "Alcohol-Free Activities for Alcohol-Sober and Sober Curious People - PDX," which was created to foster meaningful connections amongst people in the greater Portland area who are dedicated to sobriety from alcohol or are contemplating eliminating alcohol from their lives.

Since this space is open to the public, I'll be wearing a distinctive hat that should stand out in a crowd so you know how to find me. Then, I can point you to the rest of the group.

The event starts at 1130am, but you do not have to be right on time. Just, please be aware that this event is only scheduled for 1.5 hours.

I suggest thinking about some interests/hobbies/passions you may want to talk about for this event. I have found that a good start to finding friends is to share a hobby or interest or passion.
