About us

Welcome to the Singapore Nihongo Meetup Group!

This is a community for anyone in Singapore who is interested in Japanese (Nihongo).
We meet to practise Japanese, share resources, and connect with fellow learners and speakers. Beginners and fluent speakers are all welcome.

Our meetups are usually held once a month on Saturdays from 4:00–6:00 PM in central areas such as Dhoby Ghaut, Bugis, or Orchard.

To keep the meetup interactive, we limit the group to around 10 people, so everyone has a chance to speak.
Beginners who want to practise Japanese or learn how to study are very welcome. Speaking with a mix of Japanese and English is totally fine.
