We're so excited to announce Sarah Tresedder, Senior Climate and Energy Organizer with the Sierra Club Colorado Chapter, as the next speaker in our ongoing Speaker Series!

Investor-owned utilities make decisions that directly affect household energy bills, clean energy investment, electrification, and Colorado’s long-term climate goals, and those decisions can happen in regulatory spaces that are difficult to keep up with. In this workshop, Sarah will explain how the Colorado Public Utilities Commission works, what utility rate cases and resource planning processes mean for everyday Coloradans, and why upcoming utility hearings matter.

Attendees will learn how to understand what is being proposed, how to prepare and submit an effective public comment, and how community voices can push utilities and regulators toward cleaner, more affordable, and more accountable energy decisions.

Join us in person at Odell Brewing Five Points Brewhouse in Denver at 6:30 PM for refreshments and networking, or join us online when the talk begins at 7:00 PM on Zoom.
