morning hike Mt Falcom

This will be the first of several photo hikes I will be posting throughout the summer. I am doing this one early to hopefully beat some of the traffic. Afterwards we can go get a nice cup of coffee.

This is such nice short hike not too far out of town and perfect place to get back to a bit of nature. On this short, two-mile hike, you’ll find meadows with patches of purple delphiniums, yellow goldenbanner, white asters, purple penstemon, and mountain raspberry shrubs. There should be some great overlooks as well. Hopefully we also get a nice sunset. Bring wide angle or short telephoto, good hiking shoes, tripod, water and deflector/kneeling pad if you have one.
