Photo Walk: Populus Hotel to Union Station

We'll meet at Little Owl Coffee inside the Populus Hotel at 14th and Colfax where morning light through the uniquely-shaped windows can be great for interior photos. After coffee, we'll walk the 1.5 miles to Union Station via Colfax Avenue, Speer Boulevard, Cherry Creek and Wazee Street, passing by some of the less-frequently visited parts of downtown such as Denver Fire Station 1, the Convention Center sculpture park, and the old RR bridges over Cherry Creek. After photographing around Union Station, those who wish can join us for lunch nearby. This will be an urban landscape/street photography event so bring appropriate equipment for close to medium distance subjects.
